Due to Covid 19 I took job back in Civil sector even though I have a masters degree in WRE. It's been almost 6 months of constant applying and rejection and still I'm nowhere close to a job in my dream branch which is the Water sector.Im hopeful that through this portal I may find an entry level position in water

I left biglaw and deeply regret it. Realized that all legal jobs are ass, but at least this one pays big
Is money an issue? If not really an issue, choose your sanity.
The work you do in M&A corporate is so different from anything you will do in a legal services type role. It gets harder to leave your practice area once you actually start practicing (though having great credentials does help). Go with what you want!
Why do you think M&A is good for “versatility purposes”? Litigation is most transferable to settings beyond the private sector.
V10 will give you more opportunities down the road
Run away now while you still can
What kind of PI are you interested in? Would litigation make more sense? I love my public interest career but I have financial help from family so that makes a difference.
With what skills could you possibly serve your public interest organization/clients? Get some training and build a high profile network first.
After investing all that time and money into law school, you want to cap out your legal training after one year? I am sure public interest clients can use lawyers that don’t know anything but why stay that way?
Get over it. Do some charity work on the side. Adulting is tough.
