Hi fishes, what are the chances of Pwc AC bangalore rescinding an offer given the current market condition? The role in my offer letter seems to be pretty generic and during interviews, it didn't look like, they were interviewing for a particular project or team. I have doubts specifically because of HR's behaviour during the whole recruitment process where they never responded to my emails or calls. Is this normal practice?

I would call and explain vaguely, encourage they seek other counsel so you can send a lien letter if they do to recover any costs, and send a close file letter certified mail.
But also the pigeon isn’t a bad idea.

I do these searches because I have had clients tell me during the discovery phase they weren’t involved in any prior cases and I looked and she had filed about 8 law suits, some making very similar allegations that she was making in the case we represented her for. Long story short, we dropped her.
If you’re in the double digits, I would run. Especially if the cases are personal injury related. I can’t imagine how a single person could be involved in that many lawsuits. Seems very fishy.

I've personally been involved in 5 civil actions but most of them is appealing adverse licensing or permit decisions. 2 are civil suits.
As long as you are not worried about your suit being frivolous I would not worry. I have a long term client that has been involved in 30ish cases since 2012 and the most challenging part is reminding him he doesn't have a law degree.

I mean... did he win?

That info wouldn’t be admissible, would it?
At any rate, if this guy sets off alarm bells, or the recovery amount isn’t worth the potential hassle, by all means decline and cover your ass thoroughly.
