Is April month salary slip generated in FIS Global ??? Mine is not showing, when it will generate?
I doubt they didn't give me quarterly variable , I joined in mid February and even salary came less than previous month.
Did they deduct tax in April month salary of it is then fine because they didn't tax in March month .
Kindly comments if anyone have idea .
Thanks

Happy Lunar New Year!
I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?
@Social Work Hey guys! Attached is a job posting. The job (Social
Worker at Sheppard Pratt school) pays 34-41/hr which is 70-85k a year depending on experience. It’s a full time job. So benefits included (insurance, 401k, paid time off, sick days) And also bc it’s a social work position at a school, you get at least 4 supervision hours a month. This recruiter sent it to me. So if you’re interested please reach out to me or her. https://www.indeed.com/job/licensed-social-workercounselor-33455f2e7d917b37

Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview
What do we all make of "The Lists"?

The pandemic changed people in the weirdest ways. Entitlement existed before of course, but it is a whole other level now. Where it used to be one or two genuinely awful customers a week, it's now many times a day. There is such a strong every person for themselves mentality and I don't mean to be dramatic or anything, but I don't like the direction society is heading in.

You are right about that. Covid has got the worst out of people. I feel people were kinder before all of this but now it is just madness .
SMH these people. I swear it's the "if you give a mouse a cookie..." story playing out in real life. It worked for them in the past, so they figure it will next time they try too.

Thats exactly what this guy was doing. He knew that this specific line of business was able to give him what he wanted last time and he was on a hunt to talk to them again.

Exactly! It’s like some people think inconvenience equals compensation. I swear, a few have turned it into a full-time job. Maybe it’s because they’ve gotten freebies before, so now they expect it every time something doesn’t go their way.
