As a candidate we are losing the pay for these days. We are risking our lives as we are without health insurance. We are losing the also humiliated in front of our previous employees as we have not joined anywhere till date. We are losing confidence. And many other things

Yes, we can assume that we have taken a break but what will happen is someone has already taken a break of a month.

I think with every shift of job and every filling of positions there is risk in both sides. Companies have a risk of associates rejecting the offer on the last day leaving them with no option after multiple quarters of such instances, than giving more than one offer for same opening. Once economy starts tightening, some positions close. Company struggles to onboard. They enjoy the possibility of shifting joining dates.
Associates enjoy the liberty to reject offers late in the recruitment process. They also fall at a risk of shifting dates at the point of joining.
Both sides work for their own needs. The risk associated to recruitment and job shifting are just mirror images from the two parties

Well my friend that is why ppl r holding multiple offers so that if anyone dump them they have something else in their hand. If u have not done that then u have to suffer for that. Sad reality. Tcs might delay joining upto infinite time
