Dude just relax and think calmly
You do have a copy of your resignation mail where you mentioned about buyout ?
Does your offer letter explicitly says you can buy out?
If answer for both questions are yes, proceed with a legal claim against your manager and tcs , they will oblige
I tried many times..That I am not against policy. Why you are doing this?still..they are ready to destroy my whole future life.
Buy out has to be mutually agreed upon unless specifically mentioned in your offer letter. You can't say you won't serve the notice period. The only thing you can do now is, call the HR and Manager apologize and tell them you want to correct your mistake and they should complete your exit formalities and you will serve the notice. If they don't agree then tell them you are going to take legal action. Send them to notice with help of a lawyer. Employment bonds are not legal as per Indian labor laws. But this can be a time and money-consuming process. So try the 1st option. You should always let your new employer know about your notice period and terms and conditions. You should tell notice period is not negotiable unless you are sure you can convince your manager. I had to leave offers from EY, KPMG, and others due to my notice period as they asked me if I can reduce it. I said it's not in my control and can't give any assurance. If you lie, you will be caught at one point.
Unless they accepted ur resignation and agreed for buyout then u will have a point. Without mutual agreement u cannot just simply join other company and now blame right. If TCS takes some action as u have mentioned it will definitely impact ur career. Rather than that just talk to them and try to sort it out. It's clearly ur mistake. So rather then blaming now just try to sort out. If u go legally then clearly TCS has valid points and u don't have and it will backfire u. Better talk to them n sort it out in a good way.
I personally felt obligated to comment in this post.
Well you are right and TCS Kolkata management is worst. Its high time ppl should be made aware of that.
during my initial days i was asked to relocate but by that time my mother was sick with cancer. Still they wanted me to relocate. Eventually when i asked for project release i was not granted one nd RMG kept on pushing me everyday.
Ppl talk big about tcs but these things also happen.
Eventually i had to resign without an offer in hand.
My mother passed away but by gods grace my career is still in track.
well for those RMGs n manager, i hope they get paid back in their own coins

Sorry for your loss.
I don’t know about TCS Kolkata management but i have heard some worst experiences for Cognisant, ITC and Wipro in Kolkata hence nobody wants to relocate
What is it with Kolkata I’m unsure
We can understand your pain. But this is how policies will work. Don't be rude with management and prolong this. U can't shout and stand with bigger organization. Be polite with them and try to settle with them. If tcs ask u to quite new job and join again with them join back and serve notice period and quit. They will be having many documents which u have signed and agreed during joining. Don't make this more complicated.
1. Dont get tensed and make the things further complicated.
2. Did you got relieved from TCS or still working with them and expecting a early release ?
3. Notice period buy out option is given by most of the companies and they mention in our offer letters too. But the sad thing is they didn't agree most of the times while relieving and they say it depends on business / Manager approval.
If they r not agreeing for buy out then we need to serve the notice period.
Unless we get a approval or acceptance for Buy out option we can't go ahead with it. It's an option where employee can choose but depends on Management decision as well.

Connect with HR and seperation team
They told me that they took disciplinery action against me.
Basically seperation team will mail u once u resign. They clearly mention that ur resignation is acknowledged but acceptance of ur resignation is subjected to ur account confirmation. They have to release u then only things workout. I have resigned a month back still I haven't got confirmation. Account management has still not initiated my seperation.
