Told ya. Closest to a real ramen shop I’ve ever found in an “instant” noodle. Damned good eats.
However, I do recommend this spice.
A variation of “chili salt” is commonly used as a topping for fresh fruit in South East Asia. I like this Vietnamese version with chili, salt, sugar, and powdered dried shrimp. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.
Fantastic on firm fleshed fruit - mangoes, pineapple, melon, apples, etc.
Oh wow, I'm going to be looking for that. I keep thinking of getting some ramen packets and just never do it because they tend to be the same old thing. Maybe this stuff will get me back on a ramen kick.

Yeah definitely worth a try! I really think the star of the show was the noodles themselves. It didn’t have the typical instant ramen texture. I would say it tasted about 70-80% there from a real ramen shop noodle.
Wait where did you get these OP? I have never seen them before but now I really want to try them. I absolutely love ramen noodles. My sisters boyfriend makes the best homemade ramen you have ever had in your life.

Yeah you can get it on Amazon. They also sell it at Hmart and Walmart surprisingly but Amazon was slightly cheaper AND you don’t have to leave your house.
There’s a black and green version of this but the design is the same. I find them in nearly every Asian grocery store including Hmart. They taste very close to restaurant ramen, you could probably just add the toppings like the runny egg and other stuff yourself.
So the Korean brands like Nongshim and Ottogi taste very very different. Nissin tastes more like the creamy rich broth you might get from a ramen from a Japanese Izakaya for instance. If you see the Nissin Cup Ramen Seafood flavor grab several (sad face for the styrofoam cups), but they’re amazing.
Whats the sodium content on these?

2000… 👀👀. You don’t have to drink all the soup or use all the powder if you’re worried about the sodium.
It’s about the same as other instant noodles tbh.
