At least the critical stuff is already finished

Just hoping to get the rest off my desk

We're starting to reach ghost town status. It seems like a lot of people are already taking time off, and the work is slowing down. I haven't totally checked out mentally myself, but I'm getting there.

A few important things that needed to be wrapped up this week, and happy to say that’s finally done. Looking forward to a slow couple of days next week and then taking a lot of time off.

So I know it's kinda late in the game but are there still summer internship openings for someone who is a sophomore in college with computer science major? Asking for my brother. He is studying Java and Python.

This one is going to make some of y’all mad, but it’s so annoyingly unnecessary. The most irritating part is “is it a shirt day or a skirt day”…. Like women don’t wear shirts with skirts and men don’t wear shirts with pants. Shirts and skirts are not mutually exclusive. I’ll just leave this here.

I have a promising interview at a relatively large law firm in my area (+100 attorneys) next week. The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.
