I’m totally new to wine. What should I try as the beginner? Want something to light the mood but not too strong to bring me the headache

Hi all, welcome to this very new bowl. What's everyone drinking?

Has anyone been to Napa Valley and experienced the vineyard tours / wineries? My SO and I are planning a trip there later this summer - any recs on wineries to book? Things to expect? What was your experience like?

So is it just us on this bowl. Totally fine if it is. This evening we had a rose. It’s from sojourn, one of my favorite boutique wineries. They had a promotion where a case was 30% off so I had to do it. After discount but plus tax was $26 a bottle which is expensive for a rose in general but for a Rose of Pinot noir was a good price. Paired it with Dover sole dusted in flour and fried in butter. Made a reduction with the rose, capers and lemon juice end up bit salty but was ok since we had wine
