What is the expected % pay jump from exiting consulting to industry?

I am currently a manager level technology consultant, with 6 YOE. Considering an offer to jump to industry's transformation team with ~30% pay bump.

Anyone have experience getting the non-compete removed from their employment contracts? Specifically, Amazon based in CA (not enforceable anyway?)

Interviewer asked what my current salary / bonus is and I told them.

I got the offer and it’s exactly the same base/bonus as my current role. (Though they’ll also give me so stock options in the private company).

Can you share what is reasonable % increase to get for salary / bonus when switching jobs? I know the team really likes me.

Got an opportunity for devops cloud engineer. So will i work on their legacy cloud platform or do they use other competitors platform too?

My manager continues to ask me to help other teams and do work on other billable projects. I’m sick of it .. and I’m going to explicitly say that no I can’t do it because my hours are taken by the existing project we are doing. Is this appropriate?

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. I am the sole provider for my family and value quality of life and stability. I have some interview requests from other FAANG companies that I know pay more but I worry about starting over. Anyone switch companies and either regret it or are glad they did?
