I would like to hear what the army folks say about this. As for the navy, we have no problems with our culture!
The Army culture and the people are what kept me in the Army and now transitioning after 25 years. It changes at some point from being a job to a lifestyle. My extended Army family are closer than some of my blood relatives. It’s people taking care of people. Everyone’s experience may be a bit different but the culture is steady. At some point the Army’s seven values translate from external motivation and purpose to being internally fused to all we do. Something bigger than self.
Wow! 25 years of service is amazing! I wish to stay longer here as well
