The woman sitting behind me on my flight has been coughing legitimately non stop for 4 hours now. The flight attendants keep checking on her it’s so rough. 1 more hour to go —— what are the odds I test positive in the coming days 😅

Had the same exact issue yesterday. She was literally coughing her lungs out and didn’t care to wear a mask or even cover her mouth.
I was petty and put on a second mask and made sure she saw it

Happened to me last year and I tested positive the following day

I’m 25 days post testing positive and 18 days after my first negative test. I didn’t cough at all when I was sick (100% sinus / throat / so much snot). I’m just now starting the barrel cough at random intervals (and when it starts I can’t stop) and probably also freaking people out on my flight but I was technically cleared to fly (double checked with PCP). Based on my own experience and symptoms of those who also got it around the same time as me, my guess is they are likely in recovery and not + or contagious.

PCP = primary care physician. We have CUE testing systems, better than PCR.

I honestly have thought a doctor might get called multiple times

She and her husband keep saying she’s fine no big deal - definitely think they’re just trying to get home from vacation (Cabo) without getting stuck because of Covid

Sucks. Well they say the air gets cycled quickly. Good luck, if you're vaxxed up it shouldn't be so bad. Had it for the first time a month ago.

Mask or no?

Fingers crossed for you OP - she can also just have a summer cold or bronchitis, not necessarily COVID.

I sure as hell would be.

Looking for a great non-fiction, relating to travel or world history (not just one moment in time). Could also be about the marketing world or memoirs of a business leader kinda thing.

Fiction wise I also like fantasy, paranormal, and romance. Some fave book series are the Black Gryphon from Mercedes Lackey, Game of Thrones, and From Jamaica Lane series. Similar books?

Ok, I’m gonna say this. Schools should open. Now hear me out. My wife is a family doctor, she is working insane hours, she is treating covid patients, and there is a lot of days when she has to stay at the hospital without coming home. So if you need medical help, or want to eat, it’s ok for those people to be at work, but their kids have to stay home? Cont’d >>

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Appreciate any advice!
