Looking for a great non-fiction, relating to travel or world history (not just one moment in time). Could also be about the marketing world or memoirs of a business leader kinda thing.

Fiction wise I also like fantasy, paranormal, and romance. Some fave book series are the Black Gryphon from Mercedes Lackey, Game of Thrones, and From Jamaica Lane series. Similar books?

I work in a state where abortion was previously banned and is now still pretty heavily restricted. Lately I've heard a lot of really negative and hurtful comments about patients who are picking up contraceptives, and about people who are pro-choice. I don't usually bring my political views to work, and now I feel like I honestly can't say anything without making work really uncomfortable for myself (I'm pro-choice). What should I do?

First day of 30mg vyvanse today. Had a rush of energy and hyperfocus (too much so) about 2-4 hours in, but had a complete crash 5hrs after taking the pill (just a wave of fatigue, felt very good after a quick 15min nap actually) and not sure if it had any effect after. Is this normal? Should I stick it out for a few days or is this a big sign that I’m not on the right meds/dose? Nervous to keep trialling this during the workday since a midday crash is not ideal. Appreciate any advice!

The person I report to is so disorganized and there are no other managers in the office to direct day to day operations of our department. On day 2 I was asked to go to a job site and perform a 12 hour day without any training, safety equipment or tools. On day 3 I was asked back to site to do general labor! I ended cutting my hand on an exacto knife and there was no first aid! Is this normal?
