There is an opportunity which is a 6 month contracting gig with PWC working with a large US bank remotely in US. The director tried to sell it to me that there might be oppportunities at the end of the 6 months with PWC or the bank because it is a big project - but it would be a big risk because I might not have anything in 6 months time and be back in the same position as I am now which is unemployed. I have a full time offer in industry in another country away from family. Thoughts?

I was a basis admin for validation team for 6 years and then I have been working as a product owner in automating implementations and other activities in ECS. Now my standard util is 40 and my adjusted is 105... and this project last in another month... by then my standard util might be 20.. will my promotion be affected by this? As someone very introverted and shy, what would you recommend as a good career? I have been working as a functional/business analyst for the past 5 years and it has taken a toll on me.
