I try to have sex a few times during the week with my wife. Meditation, prayer and being consistent with working out helps me as well.

Sleep turn off my phone and no sm

Running water such as a long shower, humming, alpha sounds from YouTube and sitting quietly in my bedroom listening to it. I never imagined something like this would make a difference, it's the best thing self care thing i've ever done for myself. Walking around the block noticing nature through sight, sound and smell has also helped immensely. It's not overly time consuming.

Meditation, bubble bath and glass of wine

Read take a bath, spend time with family 🙂

Those "debriefing" sessions with my fellow coworker friends help a ton. We do this at least every 2 weeks. Just finding something to laugh about. Otherwise, gym seems to be the cheat code for me this year. After work, I make sure to lift some weights. It's such a great way to decompress, I look good and feel good.

So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.
