This is a silly post but how do folks get photographs for passports and visas? Kinda tired of Walgreens gouging me by charging $17 for 2 headshots.

Was going to respond with the same answer…

I use this app and then print them for like 30 cents at CVS

That’s awesome, thank you!

Edit: be also helpful to know if there’s places to print them for reasonable prices if I get the right sized digital photos online.

I think if you apply online you just attach your own photo, but $17 every like 10 years….

You are correct. There is always the option. I chose the other option.

I don’t understand why you need to pay $17 for two pictures, I went to Walgreens one time like 15 years ago and got like 30 copies of the photos and I still have some left
Even if you just copy them yourself, this should be a one time activity

I’ve had a travel visa refused once when I did it up myself. You’d surprised how ridiculous some consulates can get. And the standard option for passport sized photos is 2 copies *only* at Walgreens

I have always just done Walgreens or CVS for my passport photos but I have to say I do not remember it being $17 for two photos. I will say that I got them done like five or six years ago so it was probably cheaper then. With inflation I am not surprised they are this much.

It sure is that expensive now. And sometimes they print it but refuse to “cut it up” for some visas stating that’s outside of protocol for them 😂 after charging that much

FedEx

Yes that’s more like $20

I am trying to practice a version of intuitive/mindful eating - honoring my body’s hunger cues and not sticking to a timeline or plan as to what and when to eat. But tbh years of “dieting” has screwed over my ability to recognize hunger cues. I suddenly realize my hunger after not eating for 10+ hours and then I’m ravenous and would just eat anything. Anyone dealt with this have any recommendations? TIA

Could be a silly question — i am beginning to look for a new apartment in the city and ideally want to rent from private landlords rather than going thru Apartment People / @ Properties / Compass, etc. How do you find private landlords?!
