This is ridiculous.

Is it easy for engineers to become TPMs?
Can anyone shed some light on quant funds please? https://groww.in/mutual-funds/escorts-tax-plan-direct-growth
I am seeing stellar returns and extremely low expense ratios but apparently since they're quantitatively managed algorithms, they don't account for things like corona for example.

I read something about "undermining the chain of command" and "calling his counterpart in the CCP" but that's all the explanation I saw
Something that keeps being overlooked with these stories is that they keep making these splashy public announcements. They could remove someone's security and do it quietly, which is what happens all the time after someone leaves the government. They want the public to know the security has been pulled, and there's really only one reason to draw attention to it.
I think it’s going to get much louder for him. He is going to be raked over the coals. They’ll make an example out of him and do whatever they can do tarnish his name and strip him out of his rank and benefits that he spent 40 years earning, and he didn’t earn it the easy way. His experience and resume is beyond legit. It’s just a sad state of affairs.
I wasn’t a fan of the Hegseth pick from the get go, but this solidifies everything I worried about from the start.
Milley is really about to get fired on his day off. The madman.
He’s going to lose $30k a year for the rest of his life out of his retirement. Not to mention his security detail has been pulled and there have been threats on his life.
But why
Retaliation. Trump feels Milley undermined him, and Milley spoke out about him quite a bit after his presidency, saying Trump was "fascist to the core" and he was “the most dangerous person to this country," etc etc.
There were fears that Trump would weaponize the DOJ and go against him criminally, which is why Milley (and others) got preemptive pardons. Maybe that never would have happened, but we are seeing how petty and vindictive Trump is by attacking Milley's military service to our country like this, so I wouldn't be surprised. But this is truly ridiculous.
I'll be honest I'm the biggest Trump hater there is, but I don't understand how our military and veterans could be okay with him going after Milley like this. But we also saw how someone like Mattis went from folk hero among service members to being looked down on as a terrible general, all because of how Trump treated him.
