This one is for the chefs and cooks, here is something I always wondered. When you're cooking for yourself or your family, do you cook a full meal, or do you microwave or do you serve a ready made something because you're sick of cooking?

Typically, I will nuke something or toss something frozen in the air fryer. I rarely have the enrgy to make something fancy for myself. But if I'm cooking for friends or family, I put a lot more effort into it.

I switched from back of the house to front, because I couldn't handle the stress in the kitchen. When I was working in the kitchen, I HATED cooking for myself. I ate a lot of leftovers and takeout from other places.

I do a mix of all, even on my time off I still like to cook for myself. I still like to experiment with new and different food combos, but some times I just do not have the energy so I just nuke something to worm up or make something simple and quick.

Married to a crazy rich girlfriend and it's the worst experience of my life. She can afford anything, flying first class everywhere, wears all branded stuff and she doesnt have to work for life. I am working very hard to provide for family and I am still not able to add any value to her life and she's been distancing herself. We havent had any meaningful interaction in the past 1 year too, been sleeping separately, no touch/kiss/sex or anything like that. We might be divorcing soon...

I’ve been offered a reporting consultant job for less than 60k and I bring 9+ years of experience to the role. They should be offering more. I don’t want to settle but I don’t want to miss an opportunity to move. Reporting consultants should start at $65k per recruiting sites. Any advice? How can I get HR/recruiters to offer more? TIA

I recently interviewed with Natwest and I got confirmation that they wanted to offer a role. Salary negotiations were started. However, now I got an email from the hiring manager that hiring for my role has been paused due to the ongoing cost of living crisis. He expects to resume the hiring for the role in Q1 '23 and would resume the process then. So is it the end? Honestly, I don't expect him to come back. But what do you think?
