Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

My weight positively correlates with my utilization.
To all fellow IQVIANS, how is it going?
Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.
Any book recommendations for first time dads?

I love my standing desk. I try to stand for all my meetings and sit down when I need to focus and knock stuff out. For me that ends up being about an even split.

Yes! I don’t know why I focus better sitting down, but I do this too. Otherwise, I try to spend a good portion of my day standing.
If you aren’t sure yet, practice with some stacked boxes/textbooks for a week or two. Might as well try it out before spending a few hundred in a desk
Ooo good idea!! I’ll have to give that a try!

I got a desk riser. It lets me sit or stand. Problem solved. I got this one:
VIVO Black Height Adjustable 36 inch Stand up Desk Converter Quick Sit to Stand Tabletop Dual Monitor Riser, DESK-V000V

I got this one and I literally have never lowered it to sit since I got it.

TBH the main thing I like about my standing desk is that it has a slide out keyboard tray underneath it so my elbows/shoulders can be in the right position (rather than shoulders up by ears bc forearms are up too high to type on the keyboard).
When I stand too much, my lower back starts to hurt. But having my arms in the right position all day has been a game changer. Since it’s literally a slide out tray, it also keeps me from putting all my weight on the elbow of the arm using my mouse.
Not sure if any of that made sense. 🤷🏻♀️

I would like one so I can sit on the floor 🥴
Try with an ironing board first. Got old real quick for me, my joints hurt, -and I'm pretty athletic.
Shoes help too. I use my Birkenstocks
I got one from Flexispot that sits on top of your actual desk so it was more affordable 👍
Helps keep me awake and focused after the lunch hour - found I was getting groggy around 2:00-3:00 hour and even starting to drift off at my desk while seated. Standing up kept me motivated
Yes, Autonomous.
Yes! It really helps eliminate my aches and pains and improves my posture. But you really have to force yourself to do it (obviously I’d rather sit lol) and ease into it (start with an hour and work your way up).
Worth it. Learn to stand during calls: it’s about building those habits. Your spine will take you - by the time the neck and back pain hit you, you’ve already done damage.
