Those who have evaluated switches from Consulting to Startups - any advice?
Was offered a Bus Ops Assc. role at a Series A FinTech which is where I desire to take my career. Main item I am having trouble disaggregating is, by taking this role am I potentially taking a step back (likely promo Manager next year)? In one sense, I feel I could develop more in the startup role though moving to a IC role / 50k less salary if promo’d (w/ equity to be fair) doesn’t feel awesome. Lmk thoughts! Thanks.

For those who hire new software developers, does it make you stand out if you get your certificate from a university instead of a coding academy (like coding dojo or something)? I noticed the universities are a bit more expensive but is it worth the price to have a university on your resume or does it not really matter?

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?
