Is it weekend yet? 🥱

Hello Fishes,
Has anyone got call from management regarding back to office? My base location is Bangalore and management seems to be in progress of calling employees back to work approx after 18th April.
Does anyone have any idea what's the management decision about back to office? Is it confirmed or still planning?
Tata Consultancy
Now that's what I really want to follow.

Is it a red flag if they’re an associate?
Houston downtown JW vs Westin.. Thoughts?

My limited experience: WLB, friends there, even as principals/managers tend to work 35-40 hours a week and that’s the NORM. People working traditional 9-4 schedules and teleworking 2-3 days. Week.
OverAll if you like the work, the culture is fantastic from what I’ve been told, a lot of ex consultants too
Just switched from Deloitte two months ago, happy to share thoughts
It depends on the group, finance makes less than tech. I switched as a SC with no mba and got a shade under 100K, but i also was in advisory at deloitte so I was underpaid for sure
Super common exit from Deloitte. On top of the wlb mentioned (although I have heard that 35-40 is a bit generous for Capital One and that it's probably closer to 40-50 as the norm), compensation is a big factor. Jumping from Deloitte, they gave me over a 50% increase in TC.
I left as a SC, I’ve had managers make a lateral move there, it’s more on the skills you can bring rather than titles
Worked there - great benefits / pay / WLB, but the work can be boring. Tech focus, which is interesting, but you'll be expected to code a bit even at senior levels. Can be bureaucratic like any giant organization. Generally great cafeterias on site.
I’ve heard they have bad culture from mba friends that had offers there and ultimately decided not to take it.
^this. I was shocked at how openly this is encouraged. First thing my manager said was, if this isnt what you want to do, feel free to switch to something you like in a year
Where they based?
McLean, VA
Very good place to work at and very diverse
Can anyone refer me to capitalone?
🤚🏾
Do they allow remote working with regular travel into the office?
Depends on team but yes flexibility is great here
