Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

I have also recently cleared all interview rounds in TCS & HR Shared 'Salary Breakup'. Still, my status in the iBegin portal is not changing from 'Evaluation in Progress' to 'Evaluated' & so on, even after uploading all required documents. They had initiated the process 2 times, 1st on 16th Nov and 2nd on 24th. Please let me know, how long it will take to release the final offer letter. Thanks

Seems low to me. I would expect Director level to pay $200K TC.
Thank you for chiming in.
For context it's a firm with 10 employees, trying to expand and have had multiple clients signed up of late. And actually, it's pretty similar to my current org as well.
Wonder if asking $180k would be realistic or come of as greedy. I initially agreed (with the recruiter for $160) in the hopes that I can present my value and demand more. My technology stack is Microsoft (Azure + Dynamics CE or Power apps).
Are you chasing the title or the opportunity? You could get paid more with RRSP matching or a pension elsewhere if you got 12 YOE in senior management and software.
I think it's the title to be fair. I'm wondering whether if it's the right move (they approached me and I wanted to see what the interview looks like).
To clarify, YOE is total experience from a junior dev to the current role of Solution Architect.
Who cares if u were director or VP if the firm has only 10 employees. No one cares; just focus on TC
The initial excitement has evaporated and it is down to the most important thing , TC!
