Risk of catching Covid on flights is actually quite low - look it up. Find a vacay spot that’s a bit remote (like a national park or something) so you don’t end up at a Covid hotspot. And let us know how it goes
It’s not likely for one to catch COVID in flight as others have pointed out. But airport is an indoor space with lots of people, especially going through the security lines. Here’s what CDC puts out for traveling during COVID.

I’ve seen plenty of people flying around and they all seem fine. Plus a few new researches I’ve done recently suggested that things are pretty safe as long as you wear mask, don’t touch your face while at airport and on the plane, and clean/disinfect right after the flight

“They all seem fine” - well there’s some hard hitting data for you. OP looks like you’re in the clear, S&1’s friends are all fine

You haven’t left your apartment since March? 😬

Went to Europe on holiday and didn’t get sick, was just fine.
People have been going to Cancun/Tulum. Resorts are at 35% capacity and follow strict processes for sanitization and social distancing from what I’ve heard. Flights should be safe and if you don’t leave your resort I think the risk of catching COVID would be pretty low.
Flew in early August, and thought it was fine. As others mentioned wear your mask, wash your hands, don't touch your face. I packed lysol wipes and wiped down our tray tables before using as well, which was prob a little much but it was my first flight.
We had a third person put in our row but were able to request that they move us to have an open seat in the row. Also the flight wasn't full so it felt like a reasonable request.
I’ve done a road trip to Switzerland (where I live), Italy, Germany and France without any issues. As long as you keep distance and wear a mask (which is mandatory anyways) chances are very low you’ll catch anything.

How is this relevant? The question is about flying. You can’t control your environment or people around you the way you can in a car
I flew last week for the first time - felt totally safe. Wear a mask, take hand wipes/sanitizer, wear gloves if you’re feeling esp nervous.
