Any amazon recruiters here?
I have had received an offer from aws and i had a negotiation call a week ago with the recruiter.
It was a 15% increase in the total comp. I have not heard anything back. Should i be worried of Amazon rescinding the offer? Will they atleast come back with the original offer? Amazon
FAANG colleagues I wanted to share an experience that I hope doesn’t occur at your orgs. I got an offer for a PM role with Capital One that I was so excited about. After sending a negotiation letter however, the team withdraws my offer saying I’m no longer a good fit . I was respectful and only asked for things that my existing org offered, and made it clear I was happy to adjust if not feasible. I’m beyond disappointed and hurt :(

Vibe depends on department/account, honestly. Know people who have been at Martin for ages and love every minute of it. Know people who have left—and wish they had done so sooner. It all depends on what your aspirations are and what you find motivating in a job.
They are getting more of what they’re looking for elsewhere. For some, higher salaries. For others, different category experience. Others, less grind hours. Again, really depends on what you are looking for.
Great people. Great vibe. Shared passion and vision across accounts for a high caliber of work. Great strategy folks.
Not a 9-5 shop. Can see people getting burnt out. But you’ll get to work with great, people on great clients and do big things.
Late to the thread, but the vibe versus the avg agency is very positive even in a “harder” year.
Like all places, it depends on the account / department / team but from a creative standpoint, everyone is crazy ambitious, inspired, talented. A top shop in the country every year.
But I am biased!
Can’t say first hands but I know friends who work there and have gotten beautiful opportunities to leave (financial and title upgrades) and have decided to stay…
I have heard really good things about the Martin Agency. I have a friend who worked there and she had nothing but good things to say about the vibrs, the people, and the benefits. She actually recommended them to me when I was looking for a new job.
Former Richmonder here. I can only speak for that office specifically but it's more of a sweat shop than it needs to be. I have had several friends leave there, but have also had friends who show no sign of leaving.

Go on.
Very happy here. I’ve refused many other job offers because I don’t think they can beat what I have here. Even for more money. Good people for the most part too. Happy to elaborate if you have specific questions
