Thoughts on Solution Delivery Analyst role at BCG? Hate my job at D but due to visa issues I have limited opportunities. Is this a role worth jumping into?

Depends on your current role and what career path you want to take. If you are on the consulting side, then this might feel less glamorous and more narrowly focused, but if you are already in product or solution delivery, then might be worth exploring.

Well yes I can understand your desire to move. In that case may not be the worst move in the world. It would give you some experience and then you could re-explore Big4 or industry

I’m a woman in my mid 20s and constantly face situations where people outside of cyber (still within the company) that I’m dealing with (older men in particular) who always push back against my cyber/technical recommendations even with managers cc’d. I studied, earned certs, and worked hard to get to where I am. Is it bc of my gender and age? In all honesty, I’ve written recommendations that male counterparts voiced in the past that had ZERO pushbacks.

Hi,
I'm currently having an offer from BlueOptima and Cohesity and am conflicted between the two.
I have offers in the SDET profile.
Cohesity Inc is providing me MTS and @BlueOptima is providing SDET-1.

Glassdoor reviews more of less place the two companies almost equally, and the package being offered by the two is almost in the same range.
My preferences include:
Learning opportunities in the role.
Company's work environment.
Company's growth prospects, are also a consideration.

I really need advice. I’ve been in my current role for a couple years and I’m just so defeated. I am good at my job. I work so hard and I’m so undervalued and unappreciated. My work is scrutinized to a degree that no one else experiences (I could give concrete examples of other people delivering design work that haven’t met BASIC design principles and it’s gotten approved) compared to me where I frequently get feedback that somehow makes my work worse but I just comply because it’s not (1/2)
