Thoughts on the importance of thank you emails after interviews?

Hi All,

I need your advice here, I have recently cleared the bloomreach interview and from very begining of the processes I have informed them about the offer I already had.
I have a offer of value : X amount base +50 k variable.

Even After sharing that offer breakup they have shared their offer as below:
Base : X - 4 + 5% variable and 6 L joining bonus.
I don't think it's right decision to accept this one as I already have an offer of X amount which is 4 L

Pls give me some tips of nego..

general question, about how long after submitting an online application should one assume that they aren’t getting an interview?

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?

I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.

I cleared all my rounds for 2.2 level and shared all my documents on the link HR shared. It's been two weeks and the offer letter is not generated. The HR keeps telling me to wait until Friday and then postpones to next week. Can anyone help me understand this?

I joined Mindtree on 8th Feb and not got project and I was waiting for last 2 and half month. So, i gave interview outside (tech mahindra) and got selected. Almost 30-35% they said they will give and i am negotiating on it.

My main concern was shift and i have some health issues and unable to continue in night shift in Mindtree and tech mahindra its purely EMEA shift and per project team update.

I know a good deal of ML and DL theory and have done two projects which I believe are good. I'm from CS background and am decent at coding. My supervisor gave me 8hours of AWOL because I couldn't show up one day because I was under anxiety. I have gave him letters from psychiatrist,psychologist that I'm passing through this. He didn't care and gave me an AWOL. I want to leave my job because my department is very toxic but I don't want to leave having that on my records.
If I move to another job later on (private or federal) this 8 hours of AWOL will show up?

I feel like every company lies about “working your way up.” You’re never allowed to blatantly say that you don’t like your position and you’d like to transition to HR or Finance. It’s almost as if once you get in claims, you’re stuck.

Looking for insight on avg total comp for registered middle management with big bank. Considering making the jump from a branch advisor to managing a team of branch advisors. I’m newly 9/10 licensed. I’ve been building book in a bank branch but the consumer bank side of the job is draining. I’m making $155k total, $75k of that is salary.
