People really want to use coronavirus as an excuse to work from home in sweatpants forever.
As someone who is 5’2” and baby faced, business causal is how I (try to) convince people I’m a grown up.
It’s also how I keep flight attendants from assuming I’m the sugar baby of the old dude sitting next to me in first class.
Also I always wear heels on fly days because the brisk click clacking sets an ominous tone that hurries slow walkers out of my way at the airport.
Don’t deprive me of the little things OP!
Having worked in both a startup environment and consulting environment, I feel a middle ground between the two stereotypes is the way to go. Don’t need to be uber-professional, but let’s avoid from devolving to t-shirt and sweat pants thing in the office.
Sweaters / polo shirts / informal button-downs with jeans or whatever for guys, similar level of casual-ness for women.
Maybe it’s a personal thing, but felt that putting on “real clothes” has always made me feel more ready to be productive.

I've worn a polo to the office. Come at me bro.

Yes! Burn the high heels! 🔥
You can say that again & that’s usually all I wear lol.

What dress code?
Moreso targeted to firms that have business/business casual dress codes of course...

Yes all the BS should be out the door because what work still gets done from home in sweats!! Enough with the costumes to make people feel better about their 24/7 workaholic lifestyle.

Dress to impress, if you pitch me in sweats I am going to assume you are in a price war with Tata
I wear sweatpants (that cost $450) and hoodies (also that price range) so my dress code is just to look good 🙃
