I just read an article where there are some scumbag human beings that are changing the tip to 0 after they get people to do their shopping and delivery. There's a special place in hell for people like that
That’s disgusting

If ever these people deserve good tips, NOW is the time.

$5 approx 10%. Its not like they spend an hour checking on me (server analogy where 20% is standard).
$5 is the default. Its all optional. That's what I'm willing to pay.
Paid an $8 fee plus $18 tip last instacart. $10 tip on last takeout. But the meal was only $19.
As much as I can but 25% at least
I’ve only used Amazon Fresh and not Instacart so my comment is for Fresh deliveries. The driver literally picks up from Amazon and drops off at the delivery location, right? It’s not like the driver goes and picks out my items. The warehouse people do that. So I only tip a few bucks based on volume not amount since volume dictates the level of effort. Is my rationale flawed in some way here?
Last tip for grocery delivery was $65. Tends to be in the $40-70 range. I'm very grateful for their service. As an added bonus, this tends to mean my Instacart orders get picked up sooner.
