Thoughts/input on my current role/experience?:

2019 Grad in house at a small/specialized pharma. Product counsel but also lead the commercial contracting function and serve as Privacy Officer for the U.S. and Canada. I’d say 40% of my work is Contracts; 40% is brand counsel work; 10% is privacy; and 10% is employment or miscellaneous work. Most of the contracts I do are SaaS or clinical related, $100k+.

Hours are 9-4 or 9-5 usually. Base is $232k, 25% bonus, plus will get equity next month.

whats brand counsel work? looks good, were you doing a gutcheck before jumping ship?

like

good boy

That’s pretty solid. I’m also class of 2019 and make about 50K more than you but I’m at a FANNG company with its own trade-off.

Feels like you are just as much commercial counsel as you are product counsel. I'd ask for a title change and a pay bump.

No it’s both, value and complexity. It all goes to risk.

I feel underpaid :( I’m a few years more senior than you and make less than you while working more.

OP is wearing alot of hats plus in a lucrative industry, ynmv

Not bad and I am at midsize pharma company

Great India clearly supported Russia by abstaining on UNSC bill that condemns Russia.
Now India should not expect any support from the UN or the Quad if it is cornered by China eventually.
Also it my make the west ponder over any more FDI in India and they might also cut the existing trade ties and MOUs inevitably affecting the jobs.
Well done Government 👏

Recently, as you probably know, Dr. Seuss's estate chose to stop printing a few of his older books that had offensive racial stereotypes. There was huge backlash from white people, including teachers here, screaming "cancel culture!"
Now we have a white guy who murdered eight Asians in custody, unharmed; while the police officer who killed an African American man for allegedly trying to pass a bad check is about to go on trial.
Full disclosure: I'm white. But I'm still enraged by all this. You?

NFW- I just had a good laugh. Earlier today I was on a video conference call reviewing a Private Label Agreement template with a larger company who wishes to brand label products we develop and manufacture. We came to a very one-sided provision and my sales VP stated “for this one, how can we just say ‘hell no’ ...nicely?” The other person on the call said we can replace the wording with just NFW (no f@$* way) and I said “I will have to add that to the defined terms section so it’s clear”
