Forester or RAV4. I’d avoid VW due to reliability concerns
Yes!!!! Good advice!
My wife and I love our Tiguan
Tiguan, way better build quality and features than the Toyota and relatively cheaper for the level of trim you get
lol what? Newer VWs are notorious for lack of build quality
Tiguan. At least it looks good. The others are so….mehh.
RAV4 prime
Crown Signia or Venza
Skip the VW.
VW & Subaru Salesperson here! If new, I'd go for the VW all day. I've had 2 VW's, 7 Subaru's, and am currently dailying an '05 Forester XT. Subaru's are great, but the new CVT's are garbage. Tiguan is a much nicer vehicle and will out perform the Forester all day. 2.0l turbo, plus the traditional automatic. Get the SE+ trim in a Tiguan for the best bang for your buck. Also consider the warranty.
VW: 4yr/50k bumper to bumper & powertrain, 2-3yr maintenance included, oil changes every 10k miles
Subaru: 3yr/36k bumper to bumper, 5yr/60k powertrain, no maintenance included, oil changes every 6k miles.
Also, VW will perform better in a rollover crash. My MIL owns one and we have no issues fitting a rear facing car seat.
If you do decide to go the Forester route, the '25s are 100% worth it over the 2024's
I love my '23 rav4. Put 50k miles on it so far.
Trying to determine if Toyota/subaru reliability outweighs the driving experience of the Tiguan. Also, need to fit a rear facing car seat in the back
It’ll be my wife’s main driver, and to her a car is a car wrt driving experience. I’d prefer something not boring for when I end up driving, which is why I worry about the rav4. She’s in a ux250h right now
