Tips for internship interviews?

I interviewed and made it to the second round after the interviewer was VERY lax (dropping f-bombs and discussing things that didn’t pertain to the job nor the interview). After the second interview where I now felt relaxed due to the first I was told I was unprofessional. I was completely blindsided. I didn’t curse but I was open about what my goals were and that I wanted to work with female veterans due to my own experiences with MST. Idk…those are my goals. 🤦🏽‍♀️

A unit in TCS is trying to retain me saying if they revise the ctc (from their unit bugedt) and provide an Indonesian onsite opportunity, will you revoke your papers. Is it worth taking this chance? Anyone here ever struggled working at a private practice during your first year as a licensed counselor? I work well with the clients but I find it difficult to accept the pay I receive for the amount of work I do and is required. Lately, I realize I haven’t been putting in much effort towards paperwork because of the pay I receive.

LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program? Hey there! really need a change in pace from being in higher levels of care, and am wanting to go part-time with my company and private practice, but I want to buy a house in the next year and am worried about finances. Can anyone speak to the hardships or successes or a counseling of practice and/or buying a home shortly after starting one? I feel trapped in my current job because I’m worried the timing isn’t right.

Do you think all these violent and hate filled attacks are because people aren't getting the emotional/mental support they need, whether it's therapy at any age or help they needed but didn't get from a social worker as a child? My coworker is sure this is the case, but I honestly think there's actually something deeper wrong either with how these people are being raised as children, or how the warning signs these people give off are ignored or swept under the rug to save face.

What misconceptions do you think people have about social work? or therapy?
Mine is my family still believes that only "sick" or unhappy people need to see a therapist, so they don't understand why I go to one since I have a job and a family. It's oldschool thinking and pretty annoying tbh.

What do you guys think about apps like BetterHelp and Talkspace? I understand they might have real therapists working on their content, but a lot of the marketing I see is so vague and broad that it feels like a lie. Seems like "This app got rid of my anxiety with a 30-minute automated text questionnaire" is the new "This tea made me lose 20 pounds in two weeks!" Just seems a little fad-like and money grabby to me. Thoughts?

Recently received my CSW license and have started working as a therapist at an outpatient clinic. Is a starting salary of $64,500 fair? I am supposed to aim for 28 billing hours (get paid if clients show or not) a week with 12 hours of admin time for other tasks. Thanks for any input.

How do you deal with imposter syndrome? I'm a new therapist and I work with a bunch of women who have been doing this for ages. They're all really sweet, but I can't help feeling like I'm way out of my league.
