Nope. Be yourself. Know your story. Be interested in the firm and ask questions. Crush it.
From what I’ve seen interviewing, and now giving interviews, the more senior your interviewer gets, the more they generally are interested in “fit” with the firm, rather than hardcore case interview stuff.
The tip of not memorizing frameworks applies to all parts of your interview. Be unique, that's how you stand out in a crowd. Be passionate about your interests; showcase your knowledge and experiences.
Curious when y’all prep - would you prefer a short book/guide to read or an online “course”. Am a consulting case interview coach and have received good feedback on my coaching so thought to write a short book.
Also, agree with the fit comment, and maybe your content knowledge if you’re interviewing for a particular sector/function. Also they are much quicker to know if you know your stuff, so take your time, relax, and start off strong.
