Tips to stop whimpering - My dog whimpers loudly when he sees other doodles. He has never met them before. The whimpering gets louder louder if it is a dog that he has seen before from a distance. He stays in a heel position the entire time. Do I continue to feel embarrassed but also chuckle or how do I minimize the whimpering? It’s loud enough that some people have come out of their homes in my neighborhood because they thought a dog was hurt.
