BCG has the highest medium/long term potential by far. But WLB is going to be worse.
Maybe potential by reputation gains into MBB domain but highly unstable
For BAH, 180 is great for Associate level and you will likely have great WLB (I work 40-45 hrs a week as an A). Annual raises are in the lower side though and no bonus below Senior Associate (SM equivalent) unless it’s in the commercial sector.
Depends on the market as well as the median for your area. The increase will be on par with other associates in your family, maybe a bit lower for the first year. Other perks on making associate include an increase in PTO
What field are you in ? 180 seems very high for an associate
Do you have these offers in hand ?? IBM paying that much for managing consultants ??
Why?

I know nothing about IBM, but that's a solid offer for us. You'll likely have excellent WLB here.
If this is on the federal side, BCG has a WAY smaller fed practice than we do. As a result, career mobility in BCG fed is going to be substantially worse than for us.
BCG is going to have the most comp upside.
What’s the location?
That is a very high to salary for b8. What is your JRS?
Take BCG no question. WLB will be the worst but long term trajectory is worth it.
MBB is very tough now. If you go for comp then you’re up or out in 2 years. And that’s an individual contributor role to start. Same without noticeable benefits for Booz
Sounds like you might not like it but can cruise at IBM as BCG PL equivalent
BCG
How many YOE OP?
This is never heard of at IBM…185K is high and I manage a relatively high paid b7s and b8s
Band 8 (Managing Consultant) with only 3 YOE is surprising. Were you hired as a Band 7 out of MBA/Grad School? Because if you were hired as a Band 6 out of Undergrad it would be extremely rare to get 2 promotions in 3 years. A graduate degree would also explain the $185K comp as a new Band 8.
Yeah I’ve been fast tracked from b6 but do have a masters
All I hear is nightmares about BCG right now. For the first time in decades, I hear IBM isn’t too bad. I’d stay there. If you’re in consulting, bonuses aren’t too big of a deal anyway.
Nightmares? What happened?
IBM annual hikes are below inflation
Location?
DC
Seems high for B8
I was 0.93 PMR when I left (185k)
