Does Deloitte do a early promotion for staff with graduate degree? Most people I know in Deloitte who has a graduate degree (non MBA) working in audit got promoted to a senior before hitting 1 year anniversary.
Applied for an SM position at pwc and interviewers mentioned that it is for an SM position as well. But the offer came out as M. Recruiter said it is just a title and doesn’t have any implications but more I look, it does look like an downgrade. Is this common? I am currently an SM and it is in tech consulting area.
If anyone is interested in getting their foot in the door into product management, a colleague of mine is hiring at a small healthcare predictive data analytics company. How might our nation reconcile its “dire” teacher shortage? How would you do it, given the opportunity?
I am interested in getting my SHRM-CP certification this year and I was wondering which study methods and materials worked best for those of you who passed the exam. Also, what are your roles in HR?!
Hi Everyone! I’m torn between which HR certification to pursue (SHRM-SCP or SPHR). Which one would you recommend and why?
Hi 🐠! My firm is willing to file an EB3 GC for me, however I’m from a highly backlogged country and was wondering what’s the realistic timeline for it from start to finish? The process seems to be stressful, to say the least. Alternatively, I have the ability to venture out into Canada (as I’m yet to pursue my MBA, after which I plan on pivoting into a diff. industry). What would you do?
More than likely receiving an offer for a more technical position than I’d like in my career. In short, I think it pigeonholes me into a role I’m not comfortable with and have little interest for. How do I politely reject the offer when it comes through?
Nearing the two year mark at EY and am considering starting to prepare for MBA apps. Have had rewarding experiences with great teams so far at the firm but would love to challenge myself a bit more...
Which tech firms apart from Amazon are open to take people without prior product background as product managers? I’ve seen Amazon is pretty open via the Product manager non tech route. Any tips to prep and pass PMP in one shot other than buying the book and reading every page of that?
Ladies! I’m curious, which benefits do you look for when moving to a new firm? Lots of recruiters talk about expanding diversity, hiring women, blah blah, but I’m not sure benefits have changed much
Has anyone taken any marketing leadership certification classes they can recommend!? Thanks
Seeking to transition out of the current industry into cloud computing. Spent the last 2+ years learning and acquiring experience in AWS, CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS Pipeline, GitHub, and Terraform. Honing Bash and Shell scripting. Picked up certifications as a PMP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, and AWS Solution Architect Associate along the way. Already have an MBA. What is the best way to break into the cloud and/or DevOps community?
PHR or SHRM? I am looking to get more certifications related to HR vs recruiting, but I am unsure on which one is "better" or will help me grow into more of a strategic HR role. Help!!!

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time. Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in? Appreciate any advice and insight, thank you.
What's the salary range of a PwC Director who's been in the consulting industry for 10 years?
How much is a signing bonus taxed?
Trying to lose weight and not sure what I’m doing wrong. Seeking suggestions. I track cals/micros on LifeSum (which tells me to eat about 1,500 cals per day). I stick to it pretty diligently. I’m pescatarian so I mostly eat vegetables and fish, with olive oil to cook with. I have some bread, dessert, and alcohol but they fit in the allowance. Peloton (30/40m) 3x/week, with usually a 4th workout being yoga/Pilates for strength. My calorie allowance each day does not change based on workouts.
What do you think: Teachers should/should not discuss their opinions and ideas around sexuality, gender, and religion with students.
At Slalom Consulting or any BIG4, how does the comp during the promotions work? Let’s say I’m getting promoted from Consultant -> Sr.Consultant Is the hike fixed by the higher management or is it up for negotiation?! Thankyou!Slalom Consulting
HSA question - does it make sense for my spouse and I to be on different health plans so at least one of us can be on HDHP and get the HSA built up for down the road? Due to health reasons it doesn’t make sense for my spouse/both of us to be on HDHP.
Any international transfer suffering from ACCA?
If anyone is looking for a job working in RSM's tax financial services group that has experience in either Private Equity, Hedge Funds, or Venture Capital space send me a message. Please have a resume for me to review and then I can get you setup for an interview. I am based on Los Angeles, but I am not concerned about location, as we need people in this space all throughout the firm. I spent 13 years with the big four before making the move and it was the best decision I have made.
Does MBB ever do cyber work with government agencies requiring a clearance? Wondering if that would be helpful with a lateral move or if they wouldn’t care.
