Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

I disagree with bringing a seat on the plane, it is more trouble than it is worth. I have a 4 year old who has been on over 30 flights (mostly before covid) and a 1.5 year old daughter.
I highly recommend the car seat. It will seem familiar to your child and make the flight easier.
2 is a tough age to fly since they are probably mobile and like exploring. More important than a car seat is lots of snacks and distractions to keep the little one entertained. Snacks at takeoff and landing to help with their ears popping.
Have found a water bottle (straw cup, etc) is the best. Don’t want too much eating if there’s a lot of turbulence, as it might lead to them getting sick (speaking from experience).
In addition to what's been said, we have always drastically reduced our screen time restrictions during flights. Throw on Pixar's Cars on the tablet for my two year old using toddler headphones (over ear, volume restricted) and he doesn't make a peep the entire flight. I'm pretty sure a couple extra hours of screen time isn't going to melt their brains and it makes a world of difference.
I gotta try this next time
No. Actually if you want to bring aboard a car seat and use it, it must be FAA approved.
Thanks all, we will skip the car since my kid isn't too fond of the car seat anyway
Also disagree with car seat
If you’re traveling at naptime or bedtime, they make these inflatable footrests that turn the seat into a lay flat for the toddler. We used internationally but would be handy for a domestic naptime flight also.
Snacks. New toys. And a bottle at takeoff and landing worked well for us. Haven’t tried or needed car seat in flight for the 4-5 cross country fights we’ve had
Just be prepared that it’s likely going to be very annoying. Get good seats. A little extra room and first on/off the plane is totally worth it. Use the stroller up till the gate then gate check it.
Practice masking. Especially important for the airport. Covid is still everywhere and you don’t want it if you can avoid it.
Have barf bag ready just in case.
Definitely fly around nap time if you think they might nap. We have 3 kids and our middle son always napped which made it so easy. The others not so much. For long flights during nap time we would sometimes give them melatonin. Works like a charm :)
We bought the Stokke Jetkids Bedbox. Worth every penny. Look it up on YouTube…
