I recently interviewed for L7 EM at Google and had 4 great interviews and one not so great system design. I submitted external referrals all of which gave great feedback. The recruiter said the next step is team match/interviews and then the HC. Anyone in a similar situation? What was the result? Google
Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

I’d go with Columbia, career fit >>>>
I’m trying to to media and entertainment, hence NYC is probably preferable to Evanston
NYC and LA are the only locations you should even consider if you want to work in media. I know several Stern students who worked at media companies post-MBA and now work in media partnerships at FANG. I imagine columbia places even better than stern so it seems like a no-brainer to me

Depends what you want to do post-MBA and where you want to do it..
Totally depends on your post-mba goals. If you want to do general management/marketing then go for Kellogg, but if you want to go into banking/PE then Columbia (mbb hire a lot from both)

I’m also facing this exact decision. I’m going for big tech so Kellogg probably makes more sense for me, but it sounds like CBS probably fits your career goals better
I think the main thing holding me back is that I don’t know enough about Columbia culture. I’m just not a cutthroat culture kind of person, hence why Kellogg is such a good fit for me. Worried that Columbia will attract a bunch of finance bro assholes that I don’t want to deal with
Honestly have heard so much about Columbia as having a cutthroat culture in the past but not in recent history. Just was accepted and that has been the vibe from current student and alums. Also have had such a good experience with alums and current students connecting my with other CBS alums and all of them have been great
