Hello Guys,
I Got one Offer from Fynd but that is too low for me and as per my expereince
They are giving me 9 LPA bcz I quoted that amount when I applied for it long back. at that time I didnt know more about how salary and all calculated and whats the market research
Now after clearing all the rounds when we meet for salary discussion i told him my real desired salary as per experience and market reseach
He told me that I quoted 9 LPA so we can not do more "unless you have any counter offer"

The last person I know to make that move did so to take care of an aging parent living near that shop who needed help. To the outside world it looked like a step down. To their family it looked like love.
Maybe they were tired of the standardized bullshit and wanted to change things up?
Y’all worry so much about other people’s careers on this app. I really hope y’all start to realize if you spent a tenth of the time you worry about someone else and put that into yourself, you’d probably have other people waste their time talking about you
Sometimes moving up is not the priority. Maybe they wanted more time with the family to cultivate life outside of work.
Maybe they had to leave because of agency finances and that’s all they found. Maybe they want less stress and politics. Maybe they want a better lifestyle and the new place is in a cheaper place to live.
There are countless reasons why they might go. Some are career related and some are lifestyle related
Agree with all of the above, plus you never know how much money someone’s saved. If there’s money in the bank, they may have options and decided for whatever reason they prefer the smaller shop
They could be getting paid more. They could have more control, because the two agencies have different internal structures. There’s a lot that could be going on there. Any reason not to ask the person directly?
I'm an art director but also take design jobs and animation jobs because I still like doing the actual work and sometimes I have way more control and better results at a small shop that needs my skills but doesn't have a team for me to direct. And sometimes, I just came out of a garbage job at a large reputable shop and need a break. I stopped caring to much about people judging me for doing that because the ones that do are already jocking me anyways to care at all.
Who knows! But it’s likely that whatever the circumstance, it was the only gig available. He’s probably sitting somewhere wondering the same thing. “I thought I was good, but I moved to this smaller market and they didn’t seem to think so.” Tell them you checked out their site and love their work and would like to stick close to them and work together. Good for you and might be just what he/she needs to hear.
I’ve noticed that a lot of people on this app act like being in advertising isn’t worth it unless you’re at some big agency that frequents Cannes. I’ve worked at both types of shops and I will choose the smaller shop over the bigger shop every. time. At a small shop you get to wear more hats and flex your skills more often, there are more opportunities for advancement (you’re a big fish in a small pond), you have better work/life balance—like, WORLDS better—your impact is just bigger. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to work for a huge agency and chasing the trophies, but it’s weird to not be able to fathom why someone else *wouldn’t* want to do that. Different people have different priories. *GASP*
Maybe they need a visa? And the other place offered to sponsor them.
I’m worried about your career
I'm worried about the beaver.
I mean, is it really your business to wonder about someone else’s decision? Unless it affects your life somehow, it’s time wasted to wonder.
