I’ve done PI work my entire career for over 10 years. I’ve worked in state and federal courts and I’ve traveled around the country doing MDL work and bellwether trials. I’ve had a lot of success making the idiots I’ve worked for wealthy, but I’m still waiting for a moment where I enjoy what I’m doing. I feel stuck working in dysfunctional plaintiff firms/cultures. I hate this profession/career more and more each year. Has anybody been successful breaking off on their own in recent years? Advice?

Any good site/utube channel to learn SAP HANA

I have been offered a position at a non-US B4 with a 2 year path to partner. I know one of the partners at the local firm and have the support of the regional service line lead, and am bringing a specialized skill set they are trying to open a new business around. The KPIs seem achievable and I’ll be in charm school to help build support within that timeline. Most of me thinks a 2 year path under these circumstances realistic but my inner skeptic is jaded. Anything I might have missed?

I am so anxious right now! Just got a job offer 2 weeks ago and still waiting on the written offer letter. I asked for an update and the recruiter reached out 2 days ago letting me know that they had some final requirements that should be approved that day so they can send the offer letter out. I’m interested in becoming a product manager but I don’t think I have the right background. My background is in enablement/product training/L&D. I don’t have a technical background. I work closely with the PMs at my current company and would love to get to do what they do. Is it possible to be a product manager without a technical background?
