Hi fishies! Are there any recruiters from Facebook (Meta) who would be kind enough to review my resume and give me some feedback? From my perspective I’m a candidate for some of the roles I’ve recently applied for and also have experience as a contingent worker there and would like some honest feedback so I can reassess and reapply. Thanks so much in advance!

I have applied to several positions up Google. I have not heard anything back at all. No matter if I customize my résumé to the job description I still don’t hear anything back. I am wondering as to why Google ghost people instead of just telling them that they didn’t get the job? Do people on Google believe it is appropriate for the recruiters just a ghost people especially if they feel they don’t match the job?

Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies. Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python. It is close to a data engineer role.
My question is that will it be a good idea to shift from development role to a model monitoring role if I want to move to FAANG in the future?Or does FAANG not prefer people who are not in core development roles?Amazon Microsoft Google Adobe PwC EY Citi Barclays JPMorgan Chase

If you mean you’re a 2nd year and recruiting for FT roles, you’ve probably missed most of the structured processes at the larger firms, if they even had any. I think a lot of places limited their intake to just returning interns. You’ll need to find one-off roles at smaller places most likely. Lean on your bschool’s career services if available, and network heavily. I’d probably also be looking at any other role willing to sponsor, and try moving back into consulting later on down the line if you’re still interested.
