Absolutely. Delta > AA > Southwest > United Southwest gets some love because the companion pass is 🔥

I doubt TPG has been overly favorable of United... There has been some negative articles such as the continued downgrading of the Polaris soft product...

like

TPG was a United shill way before the partnership. Zach Honig has years and years of blog posts where he just wanks himself off over United.

I mean it's one guy's site about travel. We're not talking a major source of investigative journalism or policy thinktank here. Read the content with a grain of salt knowing his potential biases and move on if the signal to noise ratio drops too low for you.

Think we got off topic here, really about how united sucks not TPG

Agreed on that order and good point on SW. Its almost big 5 now with SW and alaska/virgin.

I like my group and love my home city, but almost contemplating a move just to get away from United

I feel like you lose total credibility in giving airline recommendations when you take money from one airline. Never using TPG again.

I thought he mostly flew AA and DL

TPG and United are offical partners starting a year or two back. Since then his reviews have basically become ads for United and his company comparisons are extremely favorable to united.

He partners with Chase. Does he partner with UA specifically or just pushes UA’s credit card (along with the other Chase cards)?

ATK1, consider those the same as when Fox News criticizes a GOP or MSNBC criticizes a democrat. It happens, but there is certainly bias. Its a shame because as other posters have commented, it ruins the credibility of his reviews and makes them nothing more than ads.

Lol I think this is far more likely a case of confirmation bias from your loathing of United. Zach is pro-UA but there are bloggers across the board who are clearly pro AA or pro Delta. He also is only one of many contributors. TPG has many flaws (pushing Chase cards and his referral links over better bonuses), but a pro-UA bias isn’t one of them

Btw are we really ranking AA ahead of Southwest? I know Southwest has fallen off but that surprises me because AA is so bad.

If we ARE including SWA and Alaskan/Virgin I'd probably go A/V > Delta > SWA > AA > UA
