1-delta, 2-united. AA is terrible always
American upgrades are basically non existent. In everything else AA beats United
I have an over 80% upgrade rate on AA as well, and always manage to use up all my SWUs each year... UA’s app is definitely better though.
Upgrades depend on your status and routes so need more info there.
I find United Economy Plus more comfortable than Main Cabin Extra on AA. United/Star Alliance is better for international imo but One World is pretty good too. Biggest ding for One World is that mileage redemptions using BA have absurd taxes/fees
Race to the bottom... I hate seeing this question every week .
AA has better transfer for international flights on miles
This also highly depends on where you are based.
Delta gives free upgrades now to corporate travelers
United all the way. Unless you’re flying from a united hub. Flying IAH to anywhere on American is an instant upgrade.
Well yeah, bc American flies to like 3 cities from IAH....
But also out of IAH as a plat or above on UA, upgrades are pretty frequent
If you’re EP on AA, upgrades happen more often than not (from a non hub perspective)
Delta
Where do you live? I’m assuming Chicago or LA if you’re choosing between these two as both have hubs in those cities. If somewhere else, go with whomever has more flights in your home airport.
Chicago
Delta
U wanna fly the oldest fleet in the industry? Go with American.
That would be Delta (OK actually it’s Allegiant but we like to pretend they don’t exist). If you’re flying out of PHL, though, I can totally understand why you’d think this way.
