First time posting here but… I’m currently a 1st year Tax Analyst making 58,000 plus bonus. I was never informed on how raises work for this company, but it’s the end of the year and there has not been any talk of performance evaluation, which I assumed was when compensation would be covered. This is my first “real” industry job so I’m not too sure. Is it too soon in my career to consider looking else where? The area I live has a pretty height cost of living. (F23)

An executive of a major Telecom company approached me with an exciting opportunity. All details have been finalized for them to provide me an official offer other than the final compensation. The executive had asked me to provide a salary range that I was looking for which I did, but now wants me to provide my W2 from previous years of employment along with a breakout of this year’s compensation. He got into an arguement, put his hands on another employee and threatened to put a 9 bullet in his head. I suspended him and opened an investigation. The owner is mad and feels my case is biased and suspended me. He admitted guild and its not about what happened but why! I need to protect the business & secure the victim to lessen the chance of him reporting this to EEOC or DHL. He's being a dad

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

Looking for advice! I was approved to work remotely but my salary will decrease 10%. I received two raises so the decrease brings me down to my previous salary. I was told that it’s due to the cost of labor in the area.
