Very much frustrating about the fact that there is always problem in approving leaves.
Company allows 12 annual leave, 6 casual leaves which is low also in india.
Here it's considered good, if people dknt take off and work more
But when I ask 2 weeks off, they will never agree.
Same happened in past.
Is it same in every consulting ? Big 4/accenture?
People who are passionate about traveling, how do you manage to get leaves ?
Specially for international travel which needs min 2 to 3 weeks.

I have a governmental entity client in Texas that wants to offer 6 weeks of paid parental leave for all employees, even those who aren’t eligible for FMLA. After the paid 6 weeks, the employee can choose to continue paid leave using any accrued personal leave.

Texas does not have a paid parental leave statute.

If paid leave above what is required is offered for parents, do we also have to provide the same benefit to other employees that are eligible for unpaid leave?

Question: an employee was asked by his boss for same day turn around on responses/deliverables on a days he requested PTO. He completed the work. The manager wants to know if she can still deduct PTO time for the days requested, even though he completed work on those days. Help.
