Hi fishes,
I am planning a switch so was going through some salary data for a software engineer. My ex-senior manager recommended me a website: Growceed.com which helped me a lot in getting clarification about a lot of things but I am in doubt whether the average salaries of software engineer mentioned on Growceed.com really that much in top MNC companies.
Need help to calculate the in hand salary

If you were indispensable, your current company would have treated you better earlier, not when they've been threatened they are losing an asset.
I know you're looking for stories but I just want to be real upfront with you - your current company knows how you're feeling now. They won't have any concern dumping you once they can find someone with same or higher level for cheaper. The counter is to keep you there long enough while they figure out plan b. Don't go for the counter.
This is also what I’m looking for. Thanks!
If you really love where you currently work then you could consider the counter. But you were pretty miserable and even if not, D1’s point is valid.
It’s also easier to negotiate the salary you deserve should you ever jump back. But congrats on the new job and hope it treats you better!
