I am that coworker 😹😁

One of my managers has this type of personality.
Ugh! That is just frustating.
I'll be honest, I love those kinds of people. I have a coworker who reminds me of Chris Farley, and he is just so funny. I love just sitting and listening to his endless wild stories and anecdotes. Plus, the customers love him!

I can think of two employees I have had like this (three, if we count the guy that looked like Woody Allen) that I can remember right now. One was unintentionally like this (and I have spoken of him before), and the other was intentionally like this.
I still remember his employee eval. First time I used the "your biggest strength is your greatest weakness" line. The problem is, he had no off-switch. Everyone loved him, but he didn't know when to stop. I saw my biggest management task being to get him to tone it down when it needed to tone down, but not extinguishing that spark.
Sometimes I am this coworker exact coworker... "I'm sorry, I just work here". "Is this thing on? (right before I make a store closing announcement)" "Sorry I was late from break, I got lost in the store".
I am the funny coworker when appropriate, as far as the chaos I do my best to avoid being that type of coworker...

Love that! Those coworkers who bring the chaos and laughs are the real MVPs — turning stressful days into moments you actually look forward to. Sometimes a little crazy is exactly what we need!

I will go as far as comparing this to group chat. Every group chat has a smaller group chat that excludes at least one person. If you aren't part of a smaller group chat, you ARE the person excluded ;) Same thing here, if you don't have someone at work who makes it feel like a sit com, you ARE that person. (You also need someone that thinks filming your place of business would make a great reality show. They sometimes are, but do not have to be, the same as the sitcom star)
