Is “Hacking the Case Interview” any good?
Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.

We have been back in our offices since the end of February but we have not mandated that employees return to the office. We have a fully flexible, hybrid model that allows people to manage their own days at work and at home within their teams. Our approach is that the arrangement needs to work for the person and the team / business. So far it’s working very well. Some teams prefer being in the office more (eg. Sales) while others who do work that doesn’t require as much collaboration (data entry) tend to work more from home. We encourage all teams to make time for social connection (either in person or online) and also have regular in office or hybrid events. Mandating return usually results in resistance given that most people have proved that being productive is not limited to the office…
