Don't do it with the whole team. Have a 1:1 conversation and go deep. Unless your client thrives on awkward moments.
Keep it honest but positive. focus on what worked, what didn’t, and frame it as a learning chat, not a blame game. Thank them for their partnership and let them know you’d love to work together again if things line up down the road. Sometimes just asking, “Any feedback for us?” does wonders.
F that. Your leadership will know why you lost it (too expensive, low quality work, not fast enough, lack of strategic offerings, agency consolidation from procurement or new marketing team wants their own agency). Unless it actually has something to do with you and your team move on. Not good to waste time and sanity over lost clients. Good luck.
