We use the regular black card machines, but the wifi isn’t great as I work in a very old pub so they’re slow. You get the classic “oh so it’s free then” and you can have a laugh.

The other day I apologised for it being slow, and a guy looked at me, a woman, and said “the card machines obviously a woman then isn’t it”

What do you even say to something like that? I get sexism all the time and don’t know how to deal with it. Advice?? I’m only 17 and already losing my mind over angry men/woman.

My LWD with TCS is 10 June, I currently hold a offer of Cognizant of 18.3LPA and promise to send me at Onsite within 6 months, apart from this I have offer from TalentCafeSolution- Client JC Penny(26.85 Fixed), Infocepts (26.5LPA, 5% variable), Nice Software Solutions(25.98LPA,10% variable) , ACS Solutions(26LPA,5%), Allianz(25LPA). I am confused which should I select, trusting Cognizant and joining on less or going for one the company mentioned above.

I am thankful for where I have come from very humble beginnings, but sometimes struggle to come to terms with being late in my career. I am a C2 at 32. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

Out of curiosity. How would a company view a potential candidate who has a period of unemployment to study for the CPA. I am considering to start studying for the exam but I know I would need to leave my employer in order to give 110%. I am contemplating the idea of at least passing one part while employed. Then leaving my employer to study FAR. I am considering to leave my current employer anyways, so it’s more of how my future employer would view that lapse.

Do you think culinary school is worth it? I've been a waiter for a year but really want to be a chef. The people I work with say to just start in the kitchen and work my way up but I think culinary school might get me where I want to be faster. The cost is pretty insane though. Any advice?
