There’s a wealth of knowledge everywhere, including on TikTok. It’s all in seeing it, absorbing it, and doing something with it.

smart

Don't hate...Just replicate.....

There’s a lot of ways to learn about investing in real estate. TikTok is shorter form, so it’s a bit shallower, but great for explaining simple concepts. I’d supplement that with podcasts and/or YouTube videos to get into more of the details, but TikTok and/or IG reels can be a great starting point to kickstart your learning.

Advice is fine, but does it apply? Are you in the same state? Do you have the same financial situation? Do you have the same goals? Are you in the same familial situation? What are their renters like in their area vs yours? If any of these are not yes, I would take it in, but exercise judgement prior to any choice.

PSA: For single folks who live alone & have 4 legged children - a morbid but logical tip my vet shared was to buy a water dispenser bowl for your pet. Reason is that if you get into a car accident or something happens to you that prevents you from getting home to them, a water dispenser should supply them w several days of water. Dogs can go 5-7 days without food, but will die after 2-3 days without water

How can I sell my 2 years of clerkship as valuable experience for corporate work? I would like to get credit for at least one year (at least in salary, if I can’t in seniority). I know for litigation they are more clearly valued and linked to that type of work, but I have reconsidered my interests and now am thinking of going into corp. However, I don’t want to feel like I wasted 2 years clerking (which I don’t feel like that, but I have to convince an employer of that too). Any help or insight?

Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. However, with todays prices and interest, will it make more sense to rent out our current home and rent a home ourselves vs. selling and buying immediately when we move? We are moving from Vegas to Sacramento and we are not sure how long we would stay in the new area. Thoughts?
