Went for an executive director role and after numerous rounds I wasn’t selected, have the required technical skills but not people management, they want someone to manage 20 people I’ve only done 6 at max. Is this really a dealbreaker? Not sure how I can improve

He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO. Confluent is a lucrative product to sell and has established SDR reps so there’s a good blend of inbound and outbound sales. Thoughtspot is more of a startup culture where most of the sales comes from outbound and it’s a tougher sell.
