I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon

I started there 8.5 years ago and my salary has tripled by 2nd year manager not factoring in bonuses. I’m going to a different firm now as a senior manager and it’ll have quadrupled. Things really take off at manager level, but I know some 1st year seniors are pulling around $85k.
I did take their offer. Granted, I interviewed last year. I accepted the offer I believe in spring of 2023. I was making much less at my current job then, and I didn't realize the extent of the housing crisis where I ended up moving to. I'm not really sure what can be done about it now, since I took advantage of their willingness to supply Becker materials. I've racked up a bunch of debt over the past year so I definitely can't afford to pay them back for the materials. I guess I will just have to give it at least a year and hope for the best. I'll probably just have to get a second job.
Comp has historically been below market, but hours expectations were below market. Comp has been coming up to market, but with that, hours expectations are coming up some too.
Bonuses are generally small, but I’ve seen some significant increases in comp, towards the end of senior level and then consistently through manager and senior manager levels.
What are the expectations for hours now?
